NMC San Diego

Hi ladies! Wondering if any of you have experience with NMCSD in regards to infertility treatment. I've looked around here and online and am not finding much. Our year mark is creeping up on us very soon and I am hoping to get the ball rolling with diagnosis and treatment plans.

I'm looking to get any information about the center and how your experience was.

in order for our infertility treatment to start i had to get a referral from my PCM. I will say that the advice I was given is that our one year ttc started over after our m/c. If your location has the same advice, based on your siggy, your one year mark would be later than you're thinking.

I have been there with a friend for her appointments. The docs seemed great to me (I wasn't the one doing the IVF though), and they were successful. My friend was on the waiting list for a year (more?) and PCS'd away but came back for that for a month. It was significantly cheaper to do that.

I'm glad to hear the dr seems good! I'm hoping it won't come to ivf, of course everyone is too. I'm really hoping to possibly only have to do some medicated cycles and be successful.

Not sure if you will see this response since you posted this a little while ago, but I am currently being seen at NMCSD for infertility and would be happy to answer any questions you have, I can share some of my experiences with you if you would like. We have been happy so far! You will have to be referred by your PCM. Mine sent me to an OB/GYN at our duty station first, then we were sent on to NMCSD after some testing with them. i was actually able to see a civilian for my fertility treatment, I went to UCSD
