How to keep a 6 month old entertained?

These past couple days, my LO seems to have A LOT of energy and its so hard to keep him occupied!

I do the jumperoo, I do the bumbo chair, he watches Mickey Mouse, I read to him, he does tummy time, I take him for walks. Of course these activities can only last so long.

Any other ideas?

I literally could have written this post...we do so many things in a day that I'm exhausted! Sometimes he looks at me and is like "Okay, what's next?" I'm interested to see what other people say!

K is not quite four months so we don't do too much yet, but she LOVES when I blew bubbles for her. I also put her in her highchair while I do a project. She likes playing with/eating toys while she watches. Check out notimeforflashcards.com and tinkerlabs. So many cute ideas and some might work for your babies now.

Ours is 5 months old and we go for a walk each day, read a ton, sing and dance, he sits and watches me cook or clean in the kitchen, his sitting and standing exetcises that he has fun with, he's been loving getting floor time and rolling around and playing with a couple toys. Between all that, nursing him and the time it takes to get him down for naps, it seems to fill up. Though days I run errands with him and drive around, definitely go by quicker.

I have never enjoyed errands as much as I do now. It fills some of that time and days fly. Plus it's nice for both of us to get out of the house.

I put her in the carrier and go about my day.  She watches me clean, is soothed by my presence and falls asleep to the rhythm of my movements.  Honestly, I did all of what you guys described for my first child, but it just isn't practical with the second one and she is a very content baby that babbles a lot and has met all of her milestones,  she is still receiving stimulation.  Babies really just need to be loved, fed, clean clothes/diaper and to be close to their mamas.  So relax and try to enjoy this time!
