Really soft water?

We are at my ILs and they soften the crap out of their water... like it tastes weird and you feel slimy when you get out of the shower.  How should I adjust my wash routine to compensate for this?  I'm thinking I should use slightly less detergent?

Yeah, either dial back the detergent or add an extra rinse.
