yogurt

Those of you giving LOt yogurt, what kind? Plain regular full fat? Greek? Or something just for kids? DS has a little tummy upset and I think it might help. He is on a milk based formula so I'm not too worried about a reaction. Thanks!

I started DD with Greek yogurt. She LOVED it, but after two days she was unusually fussy and then she broke out in eczema. I stopped the yogurt and all symptoms went away. I EBF but have never restricted what I eat, so I eat a lot of dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese) and DD has never had any issues. So, just keep an eye out for a reaction. DD is only 7months so I am going to try again around 9-10months and see if she can handle the yogurt then.

My DS loves yogurt!!! There is a line out there by Stonyfield (I think that is it) that is called Yo Baby and Yo Toddler. They are basically the same only one had 'fruit on the bottom'. My Son loves both versions, I just mix in the fruit and give it to him. So far we have done blueberry, peach and banana pumpkin. Gerber also has a yogurt line out too that you will find in the baby food aisle. He likes that in strawberry. Eventually when this is all gone I will probably move him to greek yogurt since he likes it all so well. I may just buy vanilla greek yogurt and mix in whatever flavor fruit to it I want to vary the tastes for him.

We buy Stonyfield Organic Yo Baby and DD loves it. Meijer carries it in blueberry and peach. I've also seen it other places.

Plain full fat or Greek full fat (whatever the store has that's full fat-  I've found that's hard to find).  I add in fruit so she likes the taste (banana or apples - previously steamed and pureed - so far). You can also buy probiotic supplements made for baby if LO doesn't like the yogurt.

Full fat Greek yogurt with a little fruit mixed in has been our breakfast for the past week.  She's always a little startled by the cool temp at first but then she gobbles it up!  I have opted not to do the 'baby yogurts' only because I'm trying to keep it simple for the time being.

We tried the Gerber strawberry yogurt 4 pks, and she absolutely hates it! We just got a little pack of Organic Banana greek yogurt smoothie and she seems to really like it.

Started back on BC May, 2010; Had last shot on Aug. 2010
TTC starting in November, 2010; Irregular cycles- went to Dr
U/S showed cysts on both ovaries; Diag. Lap on March 1st, 2011
Lap showed that my right fal. tube is centered, instead of to the right
Left fal. tube is disjointed
uterus is tilted and the size of a softball, not a pear.
BFP on 8-30-11, 9-2-11, and 9-4-11.
EDD is May 14, 2012. :)
