Rice Cakes

I saw a mom with a LO about DS's age give her LO a rice cake to eat.  So I got some for DS, the apple cinnamon kind, which only have 3g of sugar per cake.  He LOVES them!  I thought I'd pass it on since we get a lot of questions about snacks on here, and, well, I'm the one asking them half the time.  Hope someone else can use the tip!

I've been buying LO the happy baby ones since around 7 months, they are sweetened with juice rather than sugar & LO loves the carrot ones

I only saw Quaker brand at our store.  Where do you find these?

In the baby food aisle!! Target frequently has store coupons and I'll use them when they are on sale & stock up!  It kinda creeps me out that Quaker's "apple cinnamon" doesn't actually contain any apple ......

I also use them as a vehicle for peanut butter and an opportunity to get some protein in. My DS loves peanut butter and hates bread...go figure. He loves it on rice cakes and also these things called Magic Pops that are similar to rice cakes but  a little less crunchy.
