Hi. I actually have felt implantation with two of my pregnancies (lost both unfortunately). The first felt a lot like menstrual cramps but slightly different and I had light bleeding, thought it was my period. The second I recognized the feeling from the first time and had no bleeding. The best way I know how to describe how it was different from actual menstrual cramps is to say that it's all in the uterus and feels like something is stretching. When I have menstrual cramps I don't just feel them in my uterus, there is a crampy tender feeling that radiates down into the vagina (sorry to be so graphic). The implantation feeling was all in the uterus, so once I was aware of the differences I knew how to recognize it the second time. Everyone is different, though, so I would pay attention to how you usually feel with menstrual cramps and if anything is different then you could be feeling implantation or something else could be going on. Also, I know it's sometimes hard to distinguish gas pains from pains in the ovary or uterus, so if you've been kinda gassy it could be that. Hope that helps a little, sorry I know that nobody can give you a perfect answer! Good luck!!
