When did LO drop a nap?

Trying not to panic...DS skipped his first ever morning nap today.  We'll have 2U2 in about a month, so the timing is sooooo wrong.

Hoping it's an anomaly.

If your's is down to one nap, when/how did that happen?  Thanks!

It's been slowly happening for the last two months here.  Every now and then she'd refuse one of her naps (usually the afternoon one).  It's been pretty consistent for a while now, so I've been slowly trying to push her morning nap into the afternoon (so far it's usually around 11 or 11:30, haven't quite made it to the afternoon yet).  Every now and then we can still get two naps out of her, though, if we put her down for the morning one early enough and then she's very active between the two or we're taking a long car ride in the afternoon (sleeps in the car).

Nora skips naps here and there if we've been running around, or what have you. I just try to keep her on schedule thereafter, and she always get back into the groove easily. Just try to keep on the schedule, and if you see a dramatic change in behavior, then it may be time for a change.

DD stopped napping twice at 9 months. DS stopped napping altogether at 20 months. My kids are 14 months apart and when I had DD, DS was only taking 1 nap, for 30 minutes. It was not fun trying to keep DS quiet but we survived. I found that giving him a snack and doing some sort of fun thing like coloring or play dough kept him quieter and it was nice to have some one on one time with him. He woke her up many times. But, what could I do? You have to roll with the punches. The worst was when DD would be napping in her swing or bouncy seat and he would run over to her and shake her. Good stuff. 2u2 is nuts. But we all make it through. If e is dropping a nap, there's not much you can do. They all eventually stop napping. I knew it was happening when it was taking longer than 30 minutes for them to fall asleep during naptime. I just moved the morning nap later and it became one early afternoon nap.

LBB has been doing only one nap at daycare since September. He dropped to one at home probably end of October, beginning of November. I don't mind it since it gives me one, nice 2 hour stretch.

Fingers crossed tomorrow he gets back on track, because don't hate me but currently each of his naps are typically 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

He has always napped longer during the day and a short one at night so he just decided to combined them.

He's doing it right now.  A couple of weeks ago, he'd refuse his 10am nap, then take two hours or so for his afternoon nap.  He's doing 2-3 hours now at around noon.  I totally hated it at first, but now I'm embracing it.  We can actually do library time and stuff in the late morning now!
