Emotions and supply

Anyone notice that when you're really upset, whether sad or angry your milk drops? My dad and his wife really cheesed me off the past two days. This morning my milk supply laughed at me. So now I'm chugging water and trying to zen out before I pump again.

This happens to me when I'm stressed which is pretty frequent lately. Try to relax and think happy thoughts!

Stress hormones inhibit letdown, so your supply probably isn't dropping so much as your body just won't letdown as well.

Stress definitely messes with supply.  That was my issue first time around.  So now when I pump I try to relax and zone out to tv.

Stress definitely effects my supply. Stress, food and water intake, being sick... It stresses me out lol.
