What kinds of stuff? Small toys, lotions, candy, Chapstick, etc.

Do you do them Christmas morning? No.

If not, when? We put them out New Year's Eve after the kids go to bed. My SIL started the tradition and made up a whole story about how Santa can sale shop and you get more if you opt for "round two". We like it because we can sale shop and then the kids have something to look forward to at the end of the Christmas break.

We put chocolate coins, tangerine oranges, tooth brushes, Chapstick, pez dispensers, little activity toys
We open them Xmas morning while adults are making breakfast/coffee. Then open presents

Love that tradition! Good idea!

I usually do stockings & stuffers for everyone except myself.  

Something small for DH-- maybe boxers or something small.  This year, he's getting a small funnel set.  For K, I have a cube puzzle, a magnet board for car trips, an I-Spy Quiet Bag, maybe a candy cane or something small.  We always got a tangerine and nuts in our stockings, so I'll probably do that too to keep up the tradition.

We do them Christmas morning.

My mom and I do them. I do.stuff for her and she does my stuff. We do them on Christmas morning. I usuall get some small stuff for DH something like candy, Jason gets movies books etc. My Dad loves stockings...it is hilarious! It is our tradition, I love it...Santa fills the stockings.

We did stockings growing up. My grandma would have a big peppermint stick, an apple, an orange and a cd or movie. At home mom did something small like a cheap necklace or jewelry.

I do a stocking for Avery on Saint Nicholas Day (December 6).  I'll do hair accessories, candy, small toys, an ornament, stickers, cute socks... anything little and fun!

What kinds of stuff? I put small toys in C's and will put a bit of candy.  I put candy and toiletries in DH's and anything else smaller, scratch off tickets etc.

My family did stockings for anyone who lived in the house, regardless of age. Erik's family didn't do them at all. I love the tradition, so Erik and I do them for each other and we will do them for the littles once they come. We put mostly little stuff but one or two more expensive gifts, like a gift card or two or some nicer shower gel, tools for Erik, along with candy, coloring books, thing like that. I usually get Erik a manicure kit because he's obsessed with trimming his nails.

My family always did them on Christmas eve- that was the one thing we would open, after extended family left. We usually do the same, but this year we gave our big presents early so we're doing the stockings Christmas morning.

      Pretty much this except I don't think DH is putting anything in F.'s stocking this year. We always drink coffee and eat something sweet like coffee cake while we open gifts, then have brunch, then open stockings.

Both of our families did them for everyone and we've kept that tradition. 

I do Bs (with some help from DH) and the dogs and dhs. He does mine. We usually do small things but last year mine had a ring in it :).

This year Bs has candy, a small tractor, punch balloons, a harmonica, and a karaoke michrophone. Dhs has candy and a gift card etc. small things.

My mom and dhs mom still do them for everyone. My mom actually has one for our baby to be and my sil's baby to be. This is how we will tell them. :). My mom usually does gift cards Chapstick some candy etc. the boys ( adults) always get a 6 pack of beer also.  

We open stockings after presents in all families.

Who specifically? Whomever is at our house - last year my mom & step dad were with us, so we did a small stocking for each of them. 

What kinds of stuff? DH is the one who loves to do stockings since I usually do most of the Christmas gift shopping/making. I may put a couple things in - usually a candy, some things like chapstick, new hairbrushes, fun socks, etc. I do something for DH and he does mine too. The kids have started making cards and/or writing sweet letters to each other and putting them in too.

Do you do them Christmas morning? Yep. It's the thing the kids can get into if they are up before us.

If not, when?

We do stockings in our house for all of us. I do DH's and May's, he does mine.

It is hit or miss what DH and I get for each other (some years we do great, some not), but for his I usually do undies, scratch offs, and a Hershey's Cookies n Cream bar. Maybe something else - this year I got him a couple of CDs. I don't think he's gotten me anything for my stocking as this blizzard has really kept him occupied the last few days.

For May we did a pair of PJs, socks, coloring book, some other little stuff.

We will do them Christmas morning before presents. In the future, it will be open grab for whoever gets downstairs first.

We do stockings on DH's side, too. It is awesome. There is like $100 worth of goodies in there - gift cards, little gadgets, etc. I'm a huge fan of those stockings. Most of the time it's the only surprise gift I get. The kids (us) all go together to fill his parents' stockings. 

It's a blog. It's not very funny. But it's very random.
