Team green baby born!

Our little GIRL, Norah Blanche, was born Thursday night! I was 37w2d. Wednesday night my water broke and I was not in labor at all. I got pitocin early thursday morning and was not progressing much. Around 7pm I was only 3 to 4 cm. I was developing a fever and got severe shakes and some nuasea. I got an antibiotic in my IV. Then about an hour later I was completely ready to deliver which was crazy because I was expecting hours to go. I pushed a few times and she was here! My nurse said she must to have wanted out because it was getting too hot in there lol. I'm thrilled to have a beautiful, perfect, baby girl. She was 6lbs14oz and 21 1/4 in. and healthy despite her early arrival. Going to be tall like her daddy! Good luck to all the mommas- to- be! Labor and recovery is not easy but it is worth the bundles of joy that enter our lives all of a sudden!
