Anterior placenta/movements

I have an anterior placenta. 1st baby. I was told movements will be later around 20 weeks or more. I'm 19 and getting really impatient ! : anyone else in the same boat!?

Me, too, and you and I are only one day apart. I *maybe* felt a couple of kicks a week or so ago. But I couldn't say with any certainty.

My OB had 2 AP pregnancies and said she felt movement at 22 & 24 weeks.

I'm the opposite. At my 20 week a/s I was told I have an anterior placenta but I have been feeling movement for weeks. DH and DS have both also felt baby move. And it's definitely not gas. This is my 2nd pregnancy, so I don't know if that skews it a little bit, but it has me super confused. I thought movement was supposed to happen later with an anterior placenta but I felt this baby at 12 weeks.

I started feeling little flutters around 17 wks with an ap, but was never sure if it was gas..lol.  I started feeling consistent kicks around 24 wks.

I didn't feel baby 1 until 28ish weeks. Hubs didn't feel until 30something weeks.

I have an AP and felt movement at 15 weeks and stronger kicks at 19 weeks. I'm also a FTM.

My baby A has an anterior placenta but B's is posterior.  I felt baby B a lot earlier (up higher on my right side) but just started feeling baby A around 19 weeks (lower behind my pelvic bone on the left).

:::Waves hi to the other AP mommas::: I'm not sure if I was feeling LO around 17-18 weeks or not but I felt him for sure at 19w exactly. Everyone describes movements as flutters or popcorm popping. I would describe it was twitches or muscle spasms. Oh, I'm also a FTM.

I had an anterior placenta with DD and I didn't feel her until about 22 weeks... It will happen soon!

Anterior placenta... FTM... didn't feel definitive movement until 22 weeks! You may still be a bit early, hang in there!

I'm also FTM with an AP.  I started feeling what I thought were kicks around 16 weeks but I was never really sure until about 20-21 weeks.  I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow and for the past week or two I've definitely been feeling kicks.  I think it also depends on if baby is still breech or not because my LO is breech so the kicks I feel are really really low.

Hopefully knowing you're not the only one that it's taking a while for helps you feel a little better :)

I have two APs. I think I have felt a few movements, mostly from Baby B, but not many, and I can't really be sure that it's the babies. I'm 20 weeks, 3 days. I can't wait until I can feel both babies on a regular basis!
December 2011: Missed m/c due to trisomy 13 (conceived naturally)... January 2012: DH and I found out we are both cystic fibrosis carriers... April 2012: First IVF with PGD cycle resulted in ectopic pg (May 2012)... August 2012: Second IVF with PGD cycle resulted in BFP... TWIN GIRLS!!! Lilypie First Birthday tickers

I felt about a dozen bumps and pokes today! These were the first I could say for certain were LO.
