Most women don't test until end of 2nd or beginning of third trimester but I have a strong family history of type I and type II diabetes so I am considered at higher risk for early GD. I will test again at 28 weeks if I am cleared of early GD. I had gestational diabetes with DD but it didn't develop until late in pregnancy.
