boots without socks

My DS has a pair of stride rite boots. They were difficult to get on with socks. I tried them today without since they are lined and they were much easier to put on. Do you always put socks on your LO when wearing boots?

Usually but if they're hard to get on with boots I wouldn't put them on.

I do, but we bought her boots slightly big to allow for socks.

ETA if the boots are plush and lined, I wouldn't think it's a big deal to skip the socks.  I occasionally skip socks with my Uggs, and it doesn't bother me...so I figure it doesn't bother LO.

Are you trying with the socks with grppies on the bottom? I find those hard to get into some of DD's shoes. Her actual boots are rubber boots so they are easyish to get on with any socks.
