hip pain

i am 24 weeks on weds and for the past week or so i have had REALLy bad pain inn my hips that only lasts a few seconds but man it hurts lol. Now that i am thinking of it , it sems to only be my left hip. I assume this is normal since your hips have to spread out ?

Ive been having hip pain bad since about 16 weeks.  My doctor said there's a muscle that gets stretched out when you start getting bigger, its normal and he said a maternity belt would help.  I'm too small for a belt just now so I haven't tried it.

Also, you get worse hip pain after you've had a baby before, so its worse the second time around.  I didn't have any hip pain with my first.  Don't know if this is your first or not.

I've been getting this too...it seems that stretching has helped ( I go to prenatal yoga once a week and they reall focus on stretching the hips ). Maaybe Google some hip stretching exercises and do them everyday? I am going to start doing mine everday because once a week is def not enough.
