Changed my mind...I want 3?

I'm not sure if it's hormones or not but I've been entertaining having 3 kids. DH and I always talked about having 2 but I may be changing my mind. Btw I currently have an 8 month old. Am I crazy? I mean how hard can it be? I should add we're not planning to ttc until LO turns 1. But this also means that I will have 1 child after I'm 35 which is not what I planned. Those with 3 kids or input. Your thoughts?

I want 4 or more, so I'm biased.  Plus, I've been TTC since my LO was 9 weeks old.

My opinion: 1 kid takes up 100% of your time, so more kids can't possibly take up more time.

I don't want to be Negative Nancy, but anytime I think about having more than 2, I think of going to the store with DH's cousin and her 3 little girls (3 under 3 at the time, I think). The oldest needed to use the potty, so we had to wrangle 3 girls into the stinky bathroom in Walmart and try to keep them from touching anything. I couldn't imagine doing that by myself! On the bright side, if you have a lot of support from your DH and family, perhaps it would be easier than I envision! Plus, I have since seen portable kid potties that you can put in the back of a van.

I've always been wavering between 2-3. After having my first, I was pretty sure I only wanted 2. After having my second, I really think I want 3. But that's because my oldest is AMAZING with his little brother, and I want to wait a while. But, we're still undecided.

I think it depends on what having 2 does for your life. I know a ton of people who have 3 and it fits their families perfectly.

Having three young children is really hard! We have some very unique circumstances that have made it harder than usual but either way it has it challenges. It just seems like someone needs something all.the.time! We live across the world from our families, so we have very little support. I will say DD3 is a very easy baby so that has made the transition a little easier. If you have a lot of support, then you can make it work. I'm just counting down the months until DD1 goes to Kindergarden!

I am biased as well I want three. Right now it is just DS but I have heard a few people say the biggest transition is 1 to 2 after 2 it is all the same so as long as finances aren't an issue I say to for it

If it was up to me I would have three but DH is admit about having only two. I SAH and we can do it by staying in our house that will not accommodate three kids. I really think if money wasn't an issue and our situation wasn't what it is now I would have four. So I say if you can do three and you want to go for it!

This is easy. Don't have them that close together for starters. By the time you have a third you won't be freaking out about them touch something in the bathroom. Just wipe off their hands. And, why weren't they in a cart anyway? If at least 2 were in a cart it would have been NBD.

My DH and I are unsure if we want 2 or 3 but we're taking things as they come.

I am on the pill, but our LO was a pill baby...

DS is only 8 months old and I am planning my and my fiancees wedding so I'm wanting to wait at least until October 2013 before I get pregnant again! But also I don't really want 2 under 2 and LO will be about 5 months from being 2 at that point (:

I just really would like to have a daughter and if my next is another son, then maybe we were just meant to have 2 sons and a daughter...or 3 sons LOL

I think people who have more than two kids are insane!

I kid, I kid!

But honestly, after having one and realizing how much work it is to have a child, I want just one more. Two is the number for me.

After my first was born, I thought I wanted 3.  Once my second was born I realized that two is probably all we are going to have.  It is a lot of work, not that I don't love it, but it is very stressful.  Sometimes even leaving the house is impossible.  My toddler is very, very difficult.  I think it just depends on how your kids are though.  If DS is an easy toddler, then #3 is a possibility...if he is anything like DD, then we are complete as a family of four! :-)
