I kinda wish

That Christmas was today, because I woke up REALLY wanting some of the Spiral Honey Ham my MIL is making for christmas. Plus some freaking mashed potatoes. I would just eat spiral ham and mashed potatoes forever if it were up to me. yum.

What part of your holiday dinner are you most looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to eating Raclette tonight. It's our third Christmas together and I hope it will be my first well Christmas. I had the flu two years ago and morning sickness last year.

Here is hoping it is actually good because it hasn't been the last two years!

In years past my family would go to my Grandparent's house and eat ham, funeral potatoes, green beans, rolls and jello salad. Christmas Eve was delicious.

My aunt and uncle are hosting this year, and I can't wait until EVERYTHING! She's best cook of the family, that's for sure. Her H was a chef for 30 years before he retired and she's naturally just an awesome cook. Their turkey is going to be so good, I just know it is.

Well, there are beef tips thawing in the sink, and FIL said they needed to buy some sherry... so my heart is now set on sherry beef and if it doesn't happen I will frown all over the place!

We usually have a huge rustic ham we order from an Amish family. We call it hamasaurus. BUT since my moms family sucks and always sticks my parents with the whole food bill/ responsibility, no ham this year since it is rather pricy. I'm looking fwd to biscuits and gravy for breakfast tomorrow, my dads are killer.

Just looking forward to enjoying everything! Last year my morning sickness was all day sickness! But my mom is making filet and crab legs tonight so that sounds pretty good!

My DF is obsessed with spiral ham! He has 3 in the freezer right now because there is a certain kind that only comes out at Christmas. I'm just looking forward to marshmallow salad! Woooo!

It's just me DH and DS, we are homesick. DH is making a duck so that will be nice, I baked some cookies for our dessert. We will also have some wild rice mixed with wild cranberries we brought over from Canada.

Um.. EVERYTHING! My family rotates main dishes each year, this year we're having pulled pork sandwiches. Last year was spaghetti, year before was enchiladas, year before was lasagna...

I think I'm looking most forward to all the cookies and fudge. Oh and my sister makes oreo truffles.

All of it! We haven't done Christmas with DH's dad in several years and I have no idea what they're planning for dinner. MIL is a great cook though, so it should be delicious, whatever it is.
