Anyone else working?

I'm stuck at work all night so I get to spend half of my Christmas Eve sleeping. All of our family stuff is today, so I'll be good and cranky this afternoon. I have to work Christmas night too, but at least I can be home to play "Santa" tomorrow morning.

Anyone else spending the holidays keeping their place of employment running? I'm at the hospital....we don't close. Blah.

I'm working a full day today (Christmas Eve) and so is DH. We both have Tuesday off but I have to work the rest of the week, plus this weekend, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Gotta love healthcare jobs.

I am headed in. Only because if I'm not there no one else does payroll and the guys won't get paid. I can't do that to them. I am taking a 1/2 day though.

DH is working today too. Hopefully traffic isn't too bad and he gets home for dinner.

I dont work tonight but I work tomorrow night. I decided to take a part time seasonal job at the zoo for zoo lights. I worked all weekend and it was sooo busy. I admire you working mamas, I am so tired.

Our office is running today but I took the day off. Although, these kids are driving me insane. I'm kinda wishing I did go in for a couple hours!

I have today and tomorrow off, but I am exhausted! Keegan woke up at midnight crying and itching all over the place but he didn't have a rash or anything. Nothing would console him. I gave him Benadryl and a bath but he still cried for over an hour! I finally put on a movie and it distracted him enough that he eventually fell asleep. I felt so bad! It was like the newborn satge all over with out the torture to my nipples!

Thankfully I'm per diem so I choose when I want to work, but I'm enjoying it because I will bet money that next year, as a new nurse, I will be working every holiday.
