Ok, I probably can't write this out as funny as it really was.
Last night, LO had the biggest blowout ever. DH was feeding her when she started pooping. He let her finish up her bottle before changing her, and complained about how bad her diaper stunk. He tried to push off diaper duty to me, but I said no. He turned her around, and I saw through her white onesie. Her entire back was covered in poop! I started yelling, he started panicking, running around the house holder her under her armpits. I got a bath ready ASAP. Then, we decided that wasn't a good idea and we should use the shower head. Then, we decided it would splash everywhere in the spare bath, so we headed to the master. Once we got in the master, we couldn't decide how to go about cleaning her off. This whole time, DH is still holding her under her arms far away from him. Finally, he just got the most serious face and said "pull my shorts down". He hoped in the shower with no clothes. LO is still fully dressed. He yells for three plastic bags. By time I got back, he gave up trying not get poop on him and had her onesie off and was holding her tight. Poop was all over both of them. He's dry heaving. I'm laughing hysterically.
The whole situation was comical. It was definitely our most obvious first time parent moment.
oh my gosh! Love the "pull my shorts down line"
Lois, are you into reading blogs? I have read some S12 mommy blogs that are pretty entertaining. DH watches a lot of baseball in the summer and me being a teacher can get bored easily, so after FB and the bump, I read blogs. mlf's blog is funny (Bringing up bug and bee) and I have been reading mrs.jenni's since her daughter and my DS1 were born.
Good luck passing the time!
