A few months ago, in August, I had a very depressing visit with my RE in which she told me my follicle count was very low (9) and so my egg quality was in question. I went through all the requisite testing and for the next few months was CRAZY about my diet and vitamins. I gave up GLUTEN ( and believe me, everything has gluten) and took 9 different vitamins a day some of them a few times a day according to the doc's instructions. I had already given up caffeine and alcohol because I had read a bunch of studies talking about the 3 months before conception as a critical nutrient window ( who knows if its true but i'm that way with things). Last week I had an US to check for cysts before beginning clomid and it turns out my follicle count is up to 22!
I am very excited. Hooray for the sacrifice of bagel and all things yummy!
Great news!
I love your siggy picture, btw. Very pretty. :)
Isn't it nice when hard work and sacrifice pay off?
Nice job! =)
Wow! I am super impressed! Congrats!
BTW your siggy is gorgeous!
That's awesome! Changing the diet is so much easier once you start to see results--makes it all seem worth it :-)
