So my FFFC was that I have a problem with alcohol, and when other people consume too much of it.
Well my H does not drink often and if he does he has about 2. Tonight he decided to get drunk. I told him on the way to my father's house that I didn't want to be always stuck with the kids while he went upstairs and socialized/played video games. So when we got there and everyone was cooking he sat with the girls. I was also cooking, two seperate kitchens, not much socializing. After dinner it happened as I expected he went upstairs to socialize and I had the girls. I was downstairs with my mom and dad, both drunk, but alcoholics and expected. I was not going to leave my girls with a bunch of drunks. The girls are not allowed upstairs (it is my sister's apartment and is NOT kid friendly, but it's where everyone likes to hang out, video games, music, the party place.). So no socializing for me.
I was nursing LO and wanted to tell H that we needed to leave in 1/2 an hour. Figured plenty of time for him to finish whatever he was doing. I have not mastered walking and nursing, I am just getting comfy with NIP. So when my sister and brother came down stairs for more food I asked for "Someone tell H we need to leave in 1/2 an hour" no one responded to me. So I repeated it. Still no response so I didn't think anyone heard me or was acknowledging me (they walk right past me). Turns out they did hear and each of them told my H. But since I didn't know this and I didn't recieve any response my drunk mother took it upon herself to go tell my H. She b*tched at him, he yelled back at her. He sent my brother down with the smart azz comment, "she can come up and tell me herself"
From that I knew he was pissed. So when I finished nursing LO I took it upon myself to pack everything up, bundle up the girls and get ready to leave. While I was loading the car he came outside and yelled at me for sending my mother up to b*tch at him. I told him that was not what I did, I asked someone to go up and tell you. Apparently I need to be more specific. He continued to yell at me and repeat the same crap. I had enough and screamed at him. I told him to stop repeating it, its over, I got the message, and he was making me upset. I cried.
Car ride home, silence.
At home he repeats the same crap again, at least not yelling this time. But I was so sick of hearing it again! Message recieved, Thankyouverylittle, next time I will do it myself.
And now he is passed out on the floor in front of the Christmas tree. Great thing for my 5 YO daughter to wake up to. Merry effin Christmas to us.
WTF, he passed out in front of the Christmas tree? OF all places?! I'd *** in his stocking.
But seriously, douche move on his part. Hopefully your Christmas isn't ruined.

He has gotten better already. He woke up when I did with the baby at 5:30am. He felt bad. So he has already helped me clean up the house. Because surprise! MIL is coming over to watch the girls open presents.

No, not always. Even when he has gotten drunk before he was not that bad. I think it was amplified because my mom was the one who set him off and she was drunk too. Dang alcohol...
