barely 3 months, drooling a lot and eating her fists?

my baby won't be 3 mos for another week. she recently started drooling a whole lot and eating her hands. what's going on? what can i do to help her?

Teething. It's not too early. My DS got his first 2 teeth at 3 months!

Sounds a lot like teething.  My 3 month old is doing the same thing.  Teeth can move around, come down, go back up, come down again, before finally popping out.  My 7 year old teethed for three months before he actually popped a tooth.  Good luck!

I have also read that at this age, their saliva glands are developed so the drooling really starts. But it could also be some teething.

DD does this too. She doesn't seem like she's in any pain, like with teething. But we got her Sophie for Christmas so she'd have something other than her fingers to chew on.

Joey started drooling about a month ago, and then stopped for about 2 weeks. He just started sucking on his fingers/hands and drooling way more than he was last time. I think he's probably teething as pps have said, but I don't think he's in any pain. 

Also, your LO may just be learning to soothe herself?
