I just bought a brand new Medela breastpump and was so excited to use it that I skipped the sterilizing step. I just rinsed all the parts with warm water. Now I'm concerned--Is it ok to feed my 3 month old the milk that I expressed? The actual bottle it went into WAS sterilized, just not the nipple shield and pump parts.
What do you think?? Use the pumped milk or dump it out?
nope - i'd sterilize and start over....
you have no idea who or what touched the pump before going in the pkg
