O.M.G... All hell broke loose last night

If you have read some of my pervious posts, you'll understand... But if not, heres a briefing..

My DH and I have had many issues with MILs side of the family (MIL and FIL are divorced). We have kept IF/IVF a total secret, with the exception of our parents due my my DH needing surgery and the need for involved health histories.  MILs side have been jerks for years...

my DH recently told my BIL about his diagnosis, as to inform him incase he's in the same boat. DH told his brother that this is extremely confidential, but wanted to tell him incase he was experiencing the same difficulties. BIL obviously told his wife, whom I am not a fan of, but understand the reasoning for telling her. She's on MILs 'side' of things and is a total B*TCH about everything. BIL informed his wife she MUST NOT speak a word of this to anyone as it is private...

 

SO HERE IT COMES!... At the MIL side xmas party last night, before we leave.... we hear this from someone who wasn't supposed to know anything (and this someone is a jerk)... "Good luck, I know everything".... I replied "you know what"... they respond "about issues trying to have a baby". Immediately my DH was furious, as someone let the cat out of the bag. I ran to the car so I didn't go ballistic.  My DH spent an hour in the house freaking out trying to see who said something. my BIL's wife!!!!!!! Told everyone everything...F'ING B*ITCH! I'm SO HURT. these people are ASS HOL*ES and wish us not well. I'm devastated as this was supposed to be such a private thing. She would only tell people to hurt my DH and I... She's never wished us well..I can't believe this b*tch would be such and insensitive, uncaring, cold piece of shi*. 

 

Never want to see this side of the family again

DH - 36 extremely handsome and no fertility problems
IUI 8-12 and 9-12 failed
IVF 12-21-2012 - 2 I think perfect no matter what the dr graded them (2B)embryos transferred Beta on 12-31-12 Positve - Beta is 21
Beta 2 1-2-13 - 31
Beta 3 1-4-13 - 53
Beta 4 1/9 - 212!
Ultrasound 1/10 - Nothing completely empty uterus Beta 1/14 - 743; Beta 1/17 - 1704 ultrasound shows nothing. Officially a miscarriage. 1/21 Beta 3900 Dr. says it ectopic. Ultrasound shows a miracle heartbeat right in the uterus where it belongs! Dr. says I can be cautiously optomistic!!! Hang in there baby!

I'm so sorry! I would be furious too! IF is such a private matter, I wish people would be more considerate. I hope things get better for you soon.

I think my blood pressure went up just reading this!  I'd be furious...to so blatantly announce something like that.  I doubt I would ever be able to forgive them...I would be writing them all off.  At least your husband felt the same way and hopefully let them have it.  It's too bad that families can be so rude and complicated.

***And on a side note.. You'd think this idiot of a b*itch would think "OMG maybe WE'RE going to have to go thru this too given the diagnosis". And wouldn't you think, even though we have our differences, she would have thought "wow, nice of him to come and explain things so maybe it can help us". OMG I WANT TO FREAKING SCREAM.

Literally never seeing these people again. I want to spit in their faces. Ugh now I sound like a jerk but whatever.

February 2013--Found a new RE but first back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
Absolutely no idea when we can cycle again...looking into DE as well if IVF#4 fails again
PAIF/SAIF encouraged...give me some hope!!

Me: 31, PCOS (insulin resistance) TTC since 05/11. DH: 31 Great SA after multivitamins and diet improvements 6/25 IUI #1 cancelled IVF #1 w/ICSI on 8/23 CANCELLED due to ovulation. IVF #1.2 BFN 11/6 3 snowbabies. FET #1 12/20. Beta 12/31-BFFN FET #2 scheduled for 6/12. Everyone WELCOME!!

Sorry you had to go through that on Christmas, but honestly, let it go.  Whats done is done and you cannot change the way people are. You and your husband need to focus on you guys doing what you need to do to have a family.  If that means staying away from certain people for the time being, then do it.  Control what you can and try to ignore the rest.

SIL probably did it less to hurt you, but primarily so she would get attention for having the scoop. Regardless, it wasn't very nice for her to talk about your business....

I go for my DHs sake. Always have bitten my tongue so he can see some family that he likes, although majority are jerks. After this though, he's livid.
