Christmas Eve d and c update

The procedure went as smoothly as possible this morning. I've had minimal bleeding and not a huge amount of cramping. I was, by the grace and power of God able to sing in all three Christmas Eve services this afternoon. Now we driving to the inlaws where I will probably experience some of the best sleep of my life lol. Merry Christmas ladies! Here's to hoping for a baby next Christmas for all of us! :

I am so happy that the procedure went smoothly today. It sounds like you were able to take part in some of the holiday spirit too! Go get some rest and be kind to yourself over the next few days. Agreedmay we all have babies in our arms next holiday season!
10/24/2012: BFP#1 EDD 7/3/13, missed m/c @ 9 weeks, D&E procedure DX: Septate Uterus. Awaiting further surgery on May 14th to remove the rest of the septum

Glad you were able to sing in the services today. Do take it easy for the next couple of days though. I was coping really well the 1st couple of days, and then I had a rough couple where I think it all hit me and/or my hormones started to go all crazy. Don't expect too much if yourself right away.

We are at peace with it, and I guess it's somewhat fortunate that God gave us two weeks to digest the possibility of a mc before we finally scheduled a d and c. We waited 3 ultrasounds and 2 blood tests before a mc was confirmed. I'm glad we scheduled for Christmas Eve as I have taken the past few days off and rested, and I'm not sure i would have done that as much any other time. Here's hoping we won't have to worry about that again! :
