It was super awkward! My whole family was asking all throughout the day where she was.
On our way to my MIL's, we stopped by mom and dad's before dad got home to see her. She seemed happy we stopped by. She is VERY mad.
I've never seen them like that. Let alone my dad admit that it is his fault. You could tell he felt guilty all day. Especially with the constant wondering about where mom was. He even told my nephew why she wasn't there and apologized to him.

I just don't get what the big deal about my dad going to church this one time was. Walking through the door does not turn you catholic.
