Woke up at 3:30 am, managed to fall back asleep until about 6:30.
Got up, husband ripped open Keurig from my mom which he's wanted for a year, made coffee for himself and hot cocoa for me. We opened gifts (much more for him since I got my birthday/xmas gift in the form of a diamond necklace from my favorite designer in Antwerp when we were there in Oct)....he got a Pentax K30 and Diaper dude bag with an orange dragon (because he's a fire dragon!) on it from the baby and some other various things from me.
Family reveal was today. We got cards that had a picture of a woman on the front who was pregnant staring at Santa with a caption of "one of these isn't a bowl full of jelly" and sent them out a week ago after our 10 week appointment/hearing the heartbeat with the U/S picture from late Nov. I had marked "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL (calculated timeframe) on Xmas" on the front - completely expecting at least half of our family to ignore it (our families are both remote - my sister is in Philly, mom is in Chicago, IL's are in Tampa...and this was the year thank god we decided to stay home)...but no one did.
Skyped with sister first to watch her 10 month old open gifts...was supposed to be 3 way with my mom but my sister found out first since that didn't work. Then we told my mom, saw les mis (I was concerned about Russell Crowe's singing but I never dreamed I'd have to also worry about his acting - he was AWFUL), came home, called MIL and my grandmother. Everyone's very happy and excited - especially MIL because its her first (and our children will likely be her only grandchildren due to multiple issues with SIL).
Then for some reason I got sick and decided to throw up which had lovely but subtle streaks of blood. Yay! So now my husband is making Xmas dinner which I likely will not eat but I'll be damned if we waste the 3lb lobster sitting in the fridge - my siamese LOVES lobster and so do the neighbors.
So do not want to go to work tomorrow.
Dammit now I'm hungry again. LOL
