Oh, Festivus...

As much as I love Christmas, and have actually had a really lovely celebration this year, I am also seriously over people.

-- SIL who patted my arm for the 15,000th time and said, "your daughter is so beautiful that no one faults you for taking the easy way out." Um, okay...yes, my c-section was so "easy." It's been three months. Get over it. Shut up.

--sister who thinks BFing is "gross" and makes comments constantly.

--friends who keep saying "oh, we should do something!!!!!11!!" It's CHRISTMAS, I have family events, so don't get butthurt when I'm too busy to "come over for coffee" on Christmas Eve!

--finally getting Marian to sleep on the way to an event in her carseat, seeing her resting peacefully for the first time all over-stimulated day, and people immediately saying, "can I take her out?" When I say "not right now," they DO IT ANYWAY and wake her the fluck up.

/rant

I'm with Spoof. Shut those comments down. And next time she falls asleep, put her in a back bedroom and threaten anyone who touches her with putting her to bed tonight. I would blow up if someone picked up my daughter after I said no.

My sister, yeah, I've talked to her. She's my sister, also my best friend, no kids, younger than me, and annoying. Her I'll get over.

SIL, notsomuch...two kids, homebirth, four and six hour labours respectively. A conversation is being had tomorrow over this. DH heard it today for the first time and is damn pissed now.

The comments were rude, but ignoring your request to keep her in her carseat?  How did that even happen?  Were you not in the room when they took her?

Wow. I had to c/s. if anybody EVERdares to comment on those two major surgeries which I had to make sure my children would be born healthy, I will kick their azz. Not only figuratively. No, no in that case there will be a physical consequence. A painful one.

People who never had to have a c/s just need to STFU. Easy way out....wow, this makes me really frucking mad.

Wow the easy way out?? Who says or thinks that? Last I checked, surgery was a lot harder to recover from and go through. Please say something to this B.

I didn't have a csection and still think that is horrible. That is major surgery. How on earth is that the easy way out?!? Both ways are darn hard on the body and should earn you a prize. I think the section is probably a lot harder.
