How much weight do you have left?

I started working out at four weeks post party's and was doing an excellent job! I lost a ton of weight (mostly water weight and swelling) right off the bat and continued to get down to 8 lbs left. That 8 lbs has been the most stubborn 8 lbs ever!! Plus, I went back to work so my gym time has decreased significantly bc when I get home, I want to spend time with my boy instead of going to the gym for an hour and a half.  So, my hubby and I decided to getback on track after the new year and do one Jillian michaels workout daily until out 2nd anniversary in April. I REALLY want to be back to my probably weight by then.  

 

I'm curious....how are you all doing with this? Did the weight melt right off? What areyour workout plan eating plans? What about working moms? How are you doing?

I still have 10 pounds left.  I am doing weight watchers and work-out videos three-four times a week.  I'm registered for some baby and me fitness classes that start in January.

I lost about 30 lbs pretty quickly, maybe about 4 weeks [i gained 50]. I've barely lost 5 lbs since. I just can't get any weight off. I have a fairly healthy diet and I'm somewhat active. I'm tired of people saying BF makes all the weight drop off because I have 20 more lbs to lose and it's not going anywhere. I take walks and do yoga, but I work and honestly I have absolutely no time for the gym. And our gym does not have daycare. I used to work out in the mornings before work but Oliver is usually up between 5 and 5:30, no way am I getting up at 4.

I'm going to buckle down and take my somewhat healthy diet to the next level and try to keep up with a modified South Beach diet.

I have made it below my pre-pregnancy weight, but right now I'm 1.5 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight. Despite my new pregnancy, I'm still hoping to drop it or at least hold steady until second trimester.

We're dropping most sweets after the new year. In September I only ate one treat a week and I dropped weight that way, so I'm hoping this will work again. :)

i am about 5 pounds less than pre-pregnancy.  i still would like to lose another 7 pounds (until i would say i am content).

i think its due mostly to the pumping and also the fact that between the babies and my 2 dogs i never eat a full meal anymore.

I gained 25lbs while pregnant and am now 10lbs under my pre pregnancy weight now. I honestly haven't done anything different. I nurse and I do think it has helped the most. I eat a pretty healthy diet but still have dessert when I want it. I am not exercising aside from chasing this kid around since he started to crawl. I'd like to lose 5 or 10 more. We will see what happens.

I have 7 lbs to go until I get to pre-pregnancy weight (i gained 40 lbs). Then I have 5 more to get to my pre-baby #1 weight. It's coming off quicker this time though, and last time I lost 5 lbs as soon as I weaned, so I'm hoping that happens again. I'm trying not to let it get to me (but its hard, especially since we're about to see my SIL who had a baby 2 months before me and was back to her tiny pre-pregnancy figure at 6 weeks pp). If DD would actually start sleeping i might have some energy to work out again!

I gained 47 pounds between IVF and pregnancy. I've got 16 more until I'm back at my pre pregnancy weight. I count calories to lose it. I'm also starting swim/exercise classes in January with my daughter. I walk when it's not too cold for the baby. I'd just like to lose it by the summer before the beach.

Thank for replying ladies! I nursed until about a week ago bc my milk supply started decreasing significantly after i went back to work and we introduced solids. I weaned very slowly. I have heard that once you stop bfing that you lose more weight. We shall see. I am glad to see that the majority of us are in the same place and that I am not a unique case! Have a happy holiday season:)

Pre pregnancy I was 115...I went up to 158.  When I weighed myself last week I weighed in at 125.  Hoping to lose the last 10 pounds in the new year!

I only gained about 27 lbs and was back down to pre pregnancy weight in about a month [Im assuming due to losing all the water, etc and BFing]. However I do NOT have my pre pregnancy body back. My stomach is still much flabbier [not that it was super toned to begin with] so I really should start working out more often....

About 7 to get back to my prepregnancy weight, but about 35 to be comfortable! ;) We are really drastically changing our diets after this holiday season back to my old ways of healthy eating!

I was doing really well and was 2 pounds less than my prepregnancy weight, three pounds over my goal. Then I injured my knee working out and had to take it easy. Then the holidays arrived. I'm scared to get on the scale after the past week! I will be back to working out Jan. 2nd though!

I gained 35lbs during the pregnancy. The first 20lbs came off super easy and now I'm stuck at the soot I am. Ideally I'd like to loose a total of 20 to 25 still, but it's hard to find the time when I'm the sole caregiver for Hanna. It's a silly excuse, but when I get home I don't have a free moment until maybe 9 and by then I just want to sit down. I need to get on it.

I gained 35 pounds and am only 1 pound away from pre-pregnancy weight but like PP said, my body looks NOTHING like it did before (I used to work out 5x a week vs. not at all right now). I probably have to drop another 4-5 pounds just to lose some of the flab.

A lot. I really need to get it together with my eating. I broke down and bought some new bigger pants last week because I couldn't take the squeezing, and I clearly was not going to get into my old pants any time soon. Hopefully I can do a new years resolution.

I agree!  I gained a total of 40 lbs when preg.  I lost 20 lbs right away and have slowly lost another 12 lbs.  I now have 8 lbs to go until I am back at my pre-preg weight.  I have started eating better but do not work out much.  I thought BF was supposed to help the lbs melt off, but for me not so much.  I wish I had more time to work out but I just cannot squeeze it into my day.

I gained 50. I did with all my kids, but when i was younger the weight came off easier. Now not so much, I still need to loose at least 25 for pp weight. I also need to loose like 30 on top of that just because im overweight. I feel like ill never see my slim days again.

I only have 5 pounds left but, it is not budging!! My pre pregnancy jeans still don’t fit!! I mean it is only 5 pounds WTH? I am starting back at the first of the year. I was working out 4 week postpartum. Then like you I went back to work and I feel super guilty going to the gym after work. Luckly I have a super supportive husband and he will be taking LO to day care in the morning and I will be hitting the gym before work. If I can get out of bed :/

I gained 29 lbs and lost 25 lbs before I returned to work 6 weeks pp.  The last 4 were stubbornly hanging around until I got bronchitis at Thanksgiving.  A week of barely eating anything took me 2 lbs below my pp weight!  Like others though, I'm not to my pp shape.  I was working out 4 times a week and running at least 20 miles a week.  Now I go to the gym twice a week (DH and I take turns going at 5 on week day mornings) and try to get a long run on the weekend, but it doesn't always happen.

We BF'd for 12 weeks and it did nothing for me whatsoever.  I gained 32lbs and lost about 23 before my 6 week pp appointment.  After that it was all me working out and dieting.  I am now 3lbs below my 9 week appointment and still have 12 more to go before my wedding in May. 

I count calories, track everything that goes into my mouth and cut out soda's (I was drinking 1/day, now I have maybe 1-2/mo).  I go to the gym 2-3x/week for 1hr to 1.5hrs and am training to do a 5k with my Dad in March.  I am actually fitting into jeans well that were tight before getting pregnant so thats a good motivator to keep going + the 2 pairs I have bought since having Austin are both baggy now Smile.

Side Note: even if I am dead tired, if FI is home after I put Austin down I force myself to go to the gym, and I promise it helps SOOOO much with my energy. I feel 10x better after going and get a much better nights sleep.
