We BF'd for 12 weeks and it did nothing for me whatsoever. I gained 32lbs and lost about 23 before my 6 week pp appointment. After that it was all me working out and dieting. I am now 3lbs below my 9 week appointment and still have 12 more to go before my wedding in May.
I count calories, track everything that goes into my mouth and cut out soda's (I was drinking 1/day, now I have maybe 1-2/mo). I go to the gym 2-3x/week for 1hr to 1.5hrs and am training to do a 5k with my Dad in March. I am actually fitting into jeans well that were tight before getting pregnant so thats a good motivator to keep going + the 2 pairs I have bought since having Austin are both baggy now .
Side Note: even if I am dead tired, if FI is home after I put Austin down I force myself to go to the gym, and I promise it helps SOOOO much with my energy. I feel 10x better after going and get a much better nights sleep.
