Headaches

Have ya'll been getting alot of headaches? is it a pregnancy thing i hardly ever used to get them before and now i get them pretty often. when i get one it hurts like around and behind my eyes. does anyone else get this?

I do all the time they say it is normal but it does suck and I cant take the meds that really work for it.

Last week I got one every afternoon. I'm going to make an appointment with my acupuncture guy next month because it totally took away the headaches I used to get.

or what I like to do when i get bad headaches like that is put a cold face cloth on my forehead and lay in a dark room

Yes, I don't remember getting them as much the first time around. Just stay hydrated and stay away from bright lights. It helps me. GL!

Yep. I try water first, then tylenol or caffeine.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we movied on to adoption!

Generally an indication to stay hydrated so drink more water.

top it off with the fact that we have had a lot of weather changes, too, so the 2nd trimest stuffies are compounded with sinus headaches from the changes in barometric pressure. i hate the limitations in meds.

I never had headaches with DD but this pregnancy I have been having them a lot.  But mine are more like tension headaches.  It's terrible and the tylenol doesn't seem to work.  They last pretty much all day and often start first thing in the morning.  Hoping they go away soon.  Good luck!

I had migraines before getting pregnant and didn't have any during the 1st semester. They started back up once I hit my 2nd semester and my ob has me on an anti-nausea medication and Hydrocodone. I also lay down w. an ice pack and try to sleep it off. It's really hard during meetings or when I actually have to think at work :)
