I can't say I'm dreading it because as much as I love cuddling and spending time with DD, I'm getting a little bored. I'm mostly nervous about getting up in time to nurse DD, get the bottles and pump parts all packed, and get DS and all his stuff together in order to get out the door in time. Looks like I'll have to get used to doing a lot of this the night before!

So who's back to work now? How is it going? She has her last bottle at around 9 or 9:30 then goes to sleep around 10ish. Sleeps til 7 on weekends but we have to wake her up at 6 during the week to bring her to daycare before work. Yes I have been sooooo spoiled to have such a great sleeper at 10 weeks old.

However, the last two nights she WILL NOT sleep. I'm talking the entire night she is wide freaking awake. DH and I have to take shifts so we can each at least get a couple hours of sleep. I don't know what happened!

I think my husband is going to talk to the teachers at daycare and find out exactly when she's sleeping, for how long, and where she sleeps there. I have a bad feeling that they don't play with her or keep her entertained so she just sleeps all day then she's wide awake at night. I will be so frustrated if this is what's happening. I worked so hard to get her days and nights back to normal after she was born because she had them mixed up. Now this...DH and I cannot survive on 2 hours of sleep every night. UGH! Please tell me she will go back to STTN again soon.

when to stop swaddling?

LO is 11 weeks old. We've been swaddling her for naps and at night since she was born, but stopped during the day maybe a month ago. She has recently started chewing on her hands, rolling off me when she's lying on me on her stomach, and it's getting hot, all reasons to think about not swaddling anymore.

So, for the past few nights I've been swaddling her with one arm out to ease her into it, and seriously, it's like having a newborn again! Last night she went down at 8, up at 10, 1, 4, 5:30, back to sleep at 7ish and sleeping on me now.

Plus, every time she wakes up I struggle with whether or not to feed her. I know she can go 5 hours at night without eating, because she used to. I don't want to get her back in the habit of eating every 2-3 hours at night. But, for example, when I last fed her at 8 and then she wakes up crying and fussing at 10, I have to choose whether to feed her and hope that because she's full the next stretch of sleep will be longer... or soothe her back to sleep, knowing she'll probably wake up within another hour or two again because she's hungry.

Any insight or advice? Part of me wants to just give up and swaddle her again so I can get some sleep, but when it really gets hot, I can't imagine she's gonna want to be all wrapped up tightly.

H: Lots of coupons/formula checks

Hello!

I am mostly a lurker, but have learned so much from this board. I have lots of coupons and formula checks that I have no need for and thought I would offer them to you all. Please private message me with which ones you would like and your address and I will get them in the mail to you.

All claimed! First off, we do not live near any family so i have no help, monday was LO's 1st set of shots so my mother came sunday night to go with us monday morning, which is great however she keeps saying LO needs cereal because he is starting to eat every 2hours again somedays. well grandma gave him cereal and now he has not had a dirty diaper since Monday afternoon and he screams when he is straining like he needs to dirty his diaper but he cant. he started this last night, so today after finding nothing to calm him down i took him for a car ride which did not work so we came home and our dog had pooped in the house by the back door and i was lucky enough to step in it, now our dog is 16 years old and knows better but at the same time she is 16 and i'm sure she cant hold things like she used to. I lost it and yelled at the dog, which in turn scared my poor little guy and he started screaming even louder than i thought possible so i now feel terrible i finally got him calmed down and asleep for a nap but i just cant keep from crying and worrying that i hurt his little feelings and scared him. i am just at the end of my rope, 15 days of barely getting anything to eat or enough sleep, not leaving the house, trying to keep up with the basic things like clean bottles and clothes and keeping up with the dogs. ugh, i knew this was not going to be a walk in the park but i feel so unqualified and inadequate. thanks for reading, i just need to vent!

E.C.V. external cephalic version...

Did any of you have breech babies? He has what we call "lie bump" on the tip of his tongue. It's a little white bump at the tip of his tongue. Its presence causes him to press his tongue against his lips a lot. I remember getting these little bumps every now and then but I'm used to them going away in a matter of days. He has had his for a couple of weeks.

Has anybody's LO ever had this? If so, did it linger?

Looking to Connect

Hi my daughter was born March 27 after being in labor for over 20 hrs and emergency C section. He screamed and had little tears, but settled once we held him and even gave me some smiles and coos on the drive home. So thankful for those! Now he's snoozing away. Snuggles all day for this baby! For those with first shots still to go, you can do it!

am i wrong?

Last night, my future MIL was mad at me for asking why SO had to go wash her car at 930 at night. No big deal right? Until she looked me in my eyes and said she would "whoop my aass". Unbelievable. Then, I noticed she had brought back pictures of DD that I gave her for mother's day! Even worse, she put them next to the kitchen sink where they could get ruined. So I don't want her around DD. With threatening me, and not caring enough about DD to bring back the only pictures she has of her, I don't think I'm being unreasonable. I guess I'm asking for advice and opinions and just trying to get this anger out. Thanks ladies.

Mommy and me yoga

Anyone here do a mommy and me yoga class? I LOVE putting parties together and I'm so pumped that I finally get to do one for my own kiddo instead of my nephews and friends (that I love.. haha). One of my friends did a "Milk and Cookies" theme and it was SO STINKIN' CUTE.. but I would be lame to copy in our small town. I want to do western but DH is already vetoing it. I figure I only have a year or two before DS wants to choose.
