My Dr said it was ok as long as it wasn't for a long period. I had to take Darvocet the first couple of days after I got my BFP b/c I have endometriosis and the hormone spike sent my cramps into overdrive and my blood presure etc was going crazy. I also just took a huge fall and smashed my knees,ankles etc and the ER Dr said he could give me a script for vicodin. I still had the darvocet left over so I took that. For few days your ok, evenbetter if you need one to just take the edge off. They figure thatmost pregnant women are going to take less then what is prescribed anyways.
