Anyone ever been on Seasonique bcp?

I just started it and am in the second week of month three. I've bled everyday so far this month. Is this going to last all month and through my off week? Will it do this every time or is it just because it's my first pack? If this is going to happen every time on the third month I'm going to get something else now because this is really annoying!

I am on Seasonique and I have had some breakthrough bleeding as well. I am on the third month and I think I have had some breakthrough bleeding in both the first and second month. During the second month I stopped Seasonique to get my period because I wanted to make sure I was having it then (we are going to Mexico for a week, leaving on Thanksgiving day and I did not want to have to deal with the bleeding there) and I barely got a day and a half worth of a period! It makes no sense but I am going to try to stick with it because according to several doctors I have talked to, it takes three months for your body to get used to a new bcp. Good luck to you! You should give it another three months.

i'm on my 2nd pack.  i had a period after the 1st month, but no bleeding after that, including the last week.  this pack, i spotted for like 2 weeks.  we will see if i actually get a period during the last week.

i think your body just needs to adjust.

I was on it for about a year.  I spotted here and there the whole time.  It got better, but I would still have some times of spotting.  I got very short periods on it.  I went off of it because I started getting freaked out about not getting my period regularly and always thinking I was pregnant.

I didn't bleed for about the first 40 or so days on it, then I bled for three weeks straight.  I quit taking it at that point.  Maybe I gave up too soon, but I was just fed up with BC completely.

I was on it for 9 months and dealt with breakthrough bleeding for about 6 months of it. I hated it! I was on Seasonale before (Seasonique is suppose to be the new and improved Seasonale) and never had a problem. I gave up on it. Hope you have better luck!
