So, on our 1st appt they had us fill out paper work ahead of time. I also had all my OBGYN records faxed over ahead of time. I had done a HSG, post-colotial and BW to confirm O with my OBGYN, so he wanted to see that info. We also had DH's S/A faxed over as well. When we got there, we were brought back into a office and the nurse went over the paper work we had brought in and the records that had been sent over. Then the Dr. came in and we went over everything with him (probably 20 mins). He decided the best course of action was a medicated IUI since we were unexplained. I was on CD 3 so he said we could start treatment that cycle, so after we were done the consultation part, we went and did an U/S. They found a cyst so we didn't end up cycling that cycle, but it was a good 1st appointment.
I try to have most of my appointments in the early morning, so I don't see Dr. Dunaway often (since he's driving in from BR he's usually not in the office until 9am). But the U/S techs do my U/S and I get my blood drawn during the monitoring phase, and then he looks at everything when he gets in and the nurse calls me that afternoon with instructions. It works out well b/c I don't have to take too much time off of work. He did however personally do my IUI and I just had a lap which he performed himself.
I've been really happy with him, and the clinic.
