Varicose vein question.

I have popped my first ever varicose vein.  It is super tiny and right next to my belly button (WTF?).  Last night it started hurting like a MOFO and it hasn't gotten any better today.  Is this normal?  I could deal with it being there, but not if it's going to throb constantly.

My mom told me that I'll probably get one or two because she did.

She said that cold compress helps relieve the pain a little bit.

in a semi related story I just noticed my first belly strechy... I thought I saw something the other day, but this am I looked it's super purple. FANTASTIC.

I could ask.  The person here today isn't my favorite, not that there is anything wrong with her, just not someone I would ask personal questions of.

I got one on my upper thigh and a couple on my (TMI) vag. Compression helped, and despite my insistence that they would be there forever, they went away after I gave birth. Hope you feel better!
