Crib bumpers - creative ideas for other uses?

Have any of you used your crib bumpers that came with your bedding set as decoration somewhere else in the nursery?  I'm looking for ideas of what to do with these things, since we won't be putting them in the crib.

One gal on here made valances and wall art with hers.  I plan on making a toddler duvet cover out of mine.

Here is the link to the gal that made the valances and wall art.  I think she did a great job http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/50141764.aspx

Unfortunately, I didn't save the picture, but I think one poster used her bumper as a window valance.  It was very cute!

Our nursery has a built in desk cut into the wall which we are using as a changing table. I used out bumper around the inside to act as... well a bumper :).

A friend of mine used the bumper to pad an old wooden rocking chair.  Down the back and the seat, and then some of it around the arms of the chair.  It was very cute!

I made a valance out of ours.  I really just stitched together 2 pieces of bumper (I even left them quilted) and changed out the ties on one end to loops for the curtain rod.  I'm considering cutting out some of the remaining sections and framing them as wall art.  I haven't decided if our walls are getting too crowded, though (we have a small-ish nursery).

If you Google it, you will find some blogs with ideas.  Depending on how crafty you are, you can cut out parts of the designs to make little dolls or soft books, too.
