I go to Midwest Midwives at Research. My favorite is Sheila Roth, but I also like Katie Lorand who is also part of the group.  The 3rd is Kim Anderson, and she does a fine job but I just prefer Sheila and Katie.  I had my daughter w/ them in '08 and had a fabulous birth experience at Research!  So, I'm going back w/ this baby and have my fingers crossed that all goes as well as it did the first time around. :)

I didn't use a midwife, but I know there is a birth center with midwives in Corporate Woods office park in Overland Park. I went to a babywearing group meeting (here's their FB page if anyone is interested!) there last month. It seemed new and very nice, at least the public spaces. I think it is where my hair stylist is delivering her baby next month.

Are you looking to do a home birth, birthing center, or hospital? Lee Voi is in Kansas City and has privileges at Saint Luke's Hospital on the Plaza. I really enjoy her. Hope this helps!
