We didn't even kiss until our third date. He was so shy, wasn't sure that I liked him in that way (I really, really did, so I don't know why he thought that), and didn't want to scare me off. We dated for almost two months before we went all the way.

I'm a SS too.  We met on a cruise.  We didn't sleep together the first night, but we did eventually sleep together on the cruise.  Technically, our first date was when we got back home.

I made him hang out with me w/out giving it up for a month or two... you know just to make him work a little for it ;-)  I guess I played my hand right b/c he said later on that if I had given it up on the first night he probably wouldn't have though of me the same way.  However, we still didn't have a label and weren't technically exclusive when we first started sleeping together.

+1  I was coming off a string of crap relationships and his last girlfriend had been killed by a drunk driver so we were both hesitant to get into an actual relationship but ended up in bed together anyway and then worked things out from there.

It was over 3 weeks before he finally kissed me.  I was starting to think he didn't like me, but he is just really shy.  It was about 2 months before we had sex and I am pretty sure that I was the one that initiated it. LOL!

I met him at a mall five hours from where I lived. He was in the Navy, stationed near the mall. I didn't see him again until three months later when he came up to visit me. We had gotten to know each other over the phone in those three months. 

We didn't have sex the first night he came up, but did the second.

We met on a Friday, spent the next 3 days pretty much together 24/7 talking and hanging out, had sex the 3rd night (initiated by me, which is shocking considering I'd never had sex with anyone not my BF for at least 6 mo and had only slept with 4 other BF by this time).  4 days later, he said he loved me knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and we were officially BF/GF.  We've been together 8.5 years and married for 5.5 with really not a single bump in the road :)  One of those crazy, stupid and unbelievable love at first sight stories that you don't believe in until it happens to you.

We waiting until we got married.  Well, technically we somehow waited 3.5 years, but couldn't wait any longer than 2 nights before our wedding.  hahah We hooked up like crazy during college, but DH was irrationally fearful of me getting pregnant (although my track record of 3 for 3 when actually trying always gets him to say "I told you so!").  I had sex with my high school bf, but then held out for 3.5  long years for DH:)  Now he bugs me for sex all the time....go figure

My SO came to my house on a Wednesday (we met and went out Sat night before) and has never left since. Sometimes I joke about it like, "I am still waiting for you to go home."
