After my d&c I woke up crying with my DH crying next to me. I didn't know why, I thought because I obviously was just sad over what just happened.
My DH later asked me if I remembered what I was saying. I didn't know id been talking. So he told me he had been brought back with me & the nurse was helping me drink juice & left afte he sat down & he said he asked me how I was feeling & started crying saying " its really over. I want my baby back. " in recovery there were children and adults, both & he said I started really sobbing when I heard a child start to cry.
I didn't remember any of that, and thought it was weird I'd been drinking & talking with no recollection.
Frim my experience, I guess it's pretty normal since you're so groggy coming out of the anethstesia.
