We recycle ALL of my husband's beer bottles, plastic bottles and milk cartons. We also use Eco-friendly Travel coffee mugs made out of plastic bottles. Our bed is also made out of recyclable light posts. We have raised our son to only play with toys made out of plastic milk bottles and wood scraps. I hope I win! We are a 100% Eco Friendly Family!!!

Using baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice as my all purpose cleaner.

Make my own laundry soap.

Only use my clothesline (and indoor drying rack on rainy days) for drying my clothes.

Only use our dishwasher once a month-- we do them by hand every day instead.

Don't by bottled water--we filter our tap water instead

We use felted dryer balls instead of dryer sheets

There are so many things we want to change before the little one arrives.. Our recycling efforts have been sort of so-so, but with the baby, and all the extra "stuff" that will be needed, we really need to step up. Instead of using only disposable wipes/cloths to clean up and wipe up messes on baby, we are going to be also be using soft rags that we can clean and re-use. We will be giving the whole make our pwn baby food a try, and we will also be ridding ourselves of all the toxic chemicals and cleansers we use in our home. Lots of changes to make... Only 5 months to go. :)

Re-usable grocery bags, and refashion my old clothes so I don't buy stuff we really don't need anyways. I take my old clothes that doesn't fit and make it to fit my daughter, she loves it! I try to use less water when doing chores too.
