Anyone thought about painting your belly for maternity pics?

One of my BFFs is a local artist and does a lot of body painting.  I called her yesterday and told her that I'm pregnant.  She wants to do progression work on my belly!  I am so excited! 


If you want to see what I'm talking about, go to this site and in portfolios, there is a link for bellies.  The last 5 or so are progression.  As the belly gets bigger, so does the tree!

LOVE IT. I'm a huge fan of pregnant belly painting anyway, but this idea is so cute.

Ha, no no. Honestly, I thought you were joking when I first read the title....but I don't have any kids so I have never heard of anything like this. I feel like you would have to have a damn good lookin' belly though!

Why is it weird? Obviously I'm not going to spread the pictures around my house, but I'd love for my pregnancy to be remembered as something beautiful... A work of art.
