How early did your m/s start?

I had horrible morning sickness with DS until 22 weeks.  It was awful.  I lost a bunch of weight and then at 20 weeks they said I "needed" to gain atleast a lb/week.  I almost met that goal, but it was tough.  Even after the m/s stopped, my stomach still wasn't great.

I just got my bfp for #2 on Tuesday.  I got it 9dpo so I'm VERY early into this pregnancy.  Last night I got a wave of nausea and then this morning I'm fighting it again.  I know it's not a stomach bug or anything- that feels different to me.  I'm hoping it's all in my head because it seems very early to start in with m/s.  Last time I was 6 weeks along.

When did your m/s start and how bad was/is it???

I've been nauseous for two weeks. Started a few days after BFP.  Nothing past nausea (sometimes I wish I would vomit).

That's what I said the first time around.....and then I started vomiting.....all.day.long.  I soooo hope that doesn't happen again.  GL to you- I hope it's quick!

She offered it but I couldn't even get my folic acid pill down (super tiny- which I believe zofran is as well), so I didn't take her up on it.  Plus I kept thinking "It's going to stop any day now!" This time, I will definately try zofran!

Zofran you put under your tongue.  We just had an rx for it last November because all 6 of us were puking for days and days.  It's awesome stuff.  Get some Sea Bands (Traget pharmacy has them) though, I swear, they rock. I  just got mine yesterday and I feel like a whole new person today!  I've never had m/s before, but this pregnancy I had waves of nausea here and there and a few gagging incidents, and then as soon as I hit 6 weeks it was all day and all night.  No throwing up, but I felt like if it would ease the nausea for a while I'd gladly throw up.  The nausea was just unending and left me on the couch from sun-up to sun-down.

Momma to 4 here and 4 in Heaven, cautiously expecting #5! Ds1-9yo, Dd1-6yo, Ds2-3 1/2yo, Dd2-1 1/2yo.

This last week was the first time I felt any sort of nausea.  With my last pregnancy, I was nauseous quite a bit but never actually got sick.  I'm hoping to avoid it again this time.  I am no longer working full time like I was with #1, so I am hoping that is a factor in helping me continue to feel good.

I remember even by 7-ish/8wks last time I felt pretty awful. Nauseous and suuuuupeeer tired.  This time around I only have a couple waves of nausea each day and have waaay more energy; enough to keep me running and going to the gym.

Zofran dissolves on or under tongue. The taste may make you vomit because it's this overly sweet strawberry flavor but since it dissolved it won't come up. And usually starts working pretty fast. I go to Atlanta next week for a work meeting with my boss, I'm gonna call OB tomorrow just to have some on hand. :)

With my first, I started feeling sick around week 7, I don't think I actually GOT sick until about 8 or 9 weeks.  It lasted my entire pregnancy.. no joke.  I was also on zofran and it was a lifesaver! I didn't have a pill that dissolved so I had to swallow it but if I took it immediately, it usually stayed down.  There were plenty of days that it came back up though.

This time, I am not feeling sick everyday, but it's still there.  Yesterday, was my first day that I had to run to the toilet and gag (which I hate so much worse than actually vomiting).  For some reason, I don't think it's going to be as bad this go around.

I found out at 7 wks that I was pregnant, I felt nausea every morning in my 8th week , but no vomiting.  Everything changed at the very end of my 8th week and has continued into my 9th.

I get a couple bursts of energy, but they don't seem to last long!

Last time around, I was only sick for two weeks (9-11).  I have already had multiple waves of nausea and I am not even at 5 weeks yet.  I really, really, really hope I have a pregnancy like my last one and am not sick the entire time.

it started right away! i went to the emergency room, they did a pregnancy test, came back negative. i knew something was different with my body, they claimed i just had a "flu bug" ...a few days later, i still wasn't better, so i went back to the doctor, he still claimed it was a flu! finally found out i was pregnant and it stuck with me throughout most of the pregnancy. i was also under A LOT of stress, because my husband and i were apart until i was 7 months along!!

hope your m/s lessens soon =D

I had a ridiculously big appetite from the time I got my BFP in early May at 8 dpo until Memorial Day weekend which was just about 6 weeks.  Then the all day nausea started and the occasional vomiting.  If I had gained any weight during the early weeks, it all went away during weeks 6-11.  My gag reflex was out of control so even just brushing my teeth set me off.

Since week 11, the nausea and m/s have subsided, but I still have some food aversions.

Mine started about 6wks almost to the day; mostly with the nausea.  By the end of week 7, I was praying for any....ANY type of relief.  Or at least a break from the bathroom.  The last few days have been....tolerable.  Yesterday was great, I had hopes and dreams again!! LOL  - Today we are making up for lost time :( I haven't seen my OB yet, and my PCP wont prescribe anything until then, so I am just doing what I can to tough it out in the mean time.  One week & counting!

Mine started the day I got my BFP. It was more just being queasy until 5 weeks. 5-8 weeks were horrid for me.

My m/s started at 4 weeks and I still get sick every day all day long and I'am 30 weeks pregnant on Monday...(( Nothing helps..sometimes zofran helps but very little.... I believe that there is nothing really that can help with m/s unfortunately. Everyone is different I guess and it can come and go any time throughout the pregnancy. The good news is that it definitely will be over with a wonderful outcome)

My m/s is what tipped me off to take the test (at 4w 6d). It got worse every day and seriously out of control (sadly, even oral Zofran didn't help anymore). It turned into hyperemesis; I had to go to the hospital a few times for dehydration and I was not doing well at all, so my doctor had me have a PICC put in at 12 weeks. Now (24w2d) I regularly inject the Zofran straight into that (it works instantly, thank God) and I get IV fluids at night since the day is still tough. Don't let my story scare you, though, because the PICC made my life 100% better!! So even if it gets terrible, there is still hope :)

I'm 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and my m/s started almost right away. Probably at about 4 weeks or so. I haven't thrown up, but I feel nauseated, sour stomach headaches and poor appetite. I used ot eat salads almost everyday and now I can't stand the sight of them lol.Everyone keeps telling me it will get better the 2nd trimester. I hope so, otherwise I'm never going to be able to gain the weight I need to. Congrats Doremi! i hope youre m/s doesn't last the entire first trimester!Smile

No sickness for me yet. I wake up feeling kind of groggy and out of it, but I haven't gotten nauseous yet. With my first two I was sick almost the whole pregnancies so I hope it stays away a little longer!
