Estwd2:Well, if you have a fever and are contagious like PP said, then yes, I can see trying to get another friend to fill in for you, but I would not do so for a lingering cold. Ask your OB about Sudafed, clear yourself out with the Netipot, keep some tissues and hand sanitizer in your pocket, keep something in your hands to avoid shaking hands or hugging anybody, and excuse yourself every so often to go to the bathroom to blow your nose, get fresh air, or whatever else you need to do. I'd enlist a friend's help just in case. Other than that, just try not to hock a loogie in the cake!
No fever since two weeks ago. Just all stuffed up still. Tried Sudafed. Tried Benedryl. Still congested with runny nose, but no fever. Sigh, being sick sucks. Being sick for 3 weeks straight blows. I actually feel like I might be a little better today. Here's hoping.
