Checking in! I didn't see my name on the list :( I think I got missed lol. Anyways I started Follistim Fri night and have an u/s b/w tomorrow morning! I'm so glad that my first injection is over! It took me 15 minutes to let my DH inject me cause I was nervous.  QOTD: I met my husband through mutual friends and been together ever since :) 
Age:30 healthy DH: 32 DX Testicular CA '03(banked sperm) Reoccurance of Testicular CA '10 RPLD.TTC: 6/2012. _______________ 6/12 met with RE advised to go to straight IVF due to quality & amount of sperm banked. 6/26/12 day 3 work up & US~ normal. 7/3/2010 Sono~ Polyps. 8/21/12 DH: PEUS~ No retrograde sperm visible; low testosterone. 9/6/12 hysteroscopy/polyectomy~ Removed 2. Now waiting for next steps to start the process of IVF! November IVF Antagonist protocol/risk of OHSS. ER 11/13 17R/15M/12F ET 11/18 transferred 2 beautiful blasts. 5 frozen embies. Beta 11/27 BFN. IVF #1!  I'm on day 3 of Lupron.  So far I've had a headache that doesn't want to go away and stinging at the injection site for about 1/2 hour after.

I met my husband at a bookstore.  My friends and I would go to Barnes and Noble to study (back in college) and one day we started talking about guys.  My one friend asked me to physically describe my perfect guy (tall, thin, dark hair and eyes), I said kinda like that guy down there.  My friend yells down to this guy and says come up here for a sec so he did.  My friend told him "she thinks your hot."  We started talking and he asked me out.  We've been together ever since (almost 10 years now.)

I'm still on Lupron/BCPs.  Last day of BCPs is tomorrow.  Baseline u/s and bloodwork tomorrow, hopefully start stimming (Gonal F) at the end of the week.  I know things can all change quite drastically, but I'm hoping our schedule stays as planned and keeping everything crossed that we will have healthy embryos to transfer after T'giving.

QOTD:  We met in grad school, but were both married to other people.  We went our separate ways, both got divorced, and years later, reconnected :-)  We got married in August.

I'm on day 3 of stims and go in for blood work on Monday. I'm hoping everything goes well and the meds are doing there job. I am also starting back up with my acupuncturist this week.
TTC since 9/10 consult 1/12 All testing came back fine Diagnosed with Unexplained infertility All treatments OOP 3 medicated IUI's All BFN IVF - ER 11/14 24R, 15M, 13F ET 11/19, BETA 11/28 BFFN --Next step FET in Jan ET scheduled for 1/24. This is IVF #1 for me and it looks like we'll be doing a 5d transfer on Tuesday 11/6.  I'm still feeling kind of crappy -- not enough to be alarmed, but enough that I'm still spending most of my time on the couch.  I was told the cramping/spotting would continue for about a day after retrieval and it's still going on almost 72 hours later.  I've spoken to the RE on call a couple of times this weekend and she's not concerned at this point but has told me what to look out for.

I trigger tonight at 10pm! ER is set for Tuesday morning. My RE usually sticks with 3 day transfers so if that happens and everything looks good than we'll have our ET on Friday!

DH and I met in middle school and starting dating soon after. We've been together ever since!

Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,
6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.
IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14
Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20=BFN
Second opinion at new clinic TBD
decided to stick with old clinic with new plan.
5/3 started metformin for IVF # 3 set to start in July!!!

Sitting in the ultrasound room right now waiting on the RE for what I hope is my final monitoring. I think I will be triggering tonight with a retrieval on Tuesday. Hoping to make it to a 5day transfer this cycle, which will be one week from today, 11/11. I did my first IVF in June and a FET in August. Here we go again, hopefully this is it! On day 5 of my FET calendar, still on the Lupron and Estrace.
Q: My husband and I met through mutual friends. We were actually dating other people in our group which is how we met. Then we both got dumped, found ourselves hanging out a lot and thanking our exes for kicking us to the curb! We got married in Oct '09.
TTC since June 2011
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.

Hi girls! I take my last BCP tomorrow, Tuesday is baseline, stims start Friday! Sooo excited. 

I started spotting yesterday though. It's weird- I'm still on the active pills. Hopefully that means my lining is niiiice and thin for Tuesday.

QOTW- We met at a skating rink. LMAO. It was f.o.r.e.v.e.r. ago when skating was cool. 12 years later we're still here. :)

Hi ladies! I'm about to start my 3rd week of BCPs for IVF 1. I go in for b/w and u/s on Friday and should start Lupron then. All my meds are arriving on Tuesday!

QOTW: My DH lived across the street from me growing up and we were friends but we didn't start dating until after highschool.

Still on birth control, baseline's tomorrow and hopefully at the end of the week stims will start!

My husband I met in middle school and were friends throughout the school years, lost touch during college years and then randomly met up again in a bar in our mid 20s and we've been together for 8 years!

Hi! I'm on day 5 of stims. Going in for my second monitoring appointment tomorrow morning. ER is scheduled for next Sunday. I can't believe how quickly everything is moving. 

I sold my husband a house. After he moved in he started finding reasons to keep in touch. He finally asked me out, and we've been inseparable ever since! 
TTC since 2/11 - Unexplained IF B/W revealed high prolactin levels. Taking bromocriptine for prolactin.
IUI #1-3 = BFN
IVF November = Cancelled (undermedicated = small follicles)
IVF December = ER 12/6 - 6R/4M/Only 1F
Transfered our one and only blast (3AA) on 12/11

Good luck to all the basters!  I've had 8 days of Lupron with surprisingly few side effects, just a bit of fatigue and really tender breasts (which I'm not sure are from the Lupron, though it's much worse than usual).  I go in Thursday for initial sono and bloodwork and start stims that night if I'm good to to.

I met my husband online when I was 33.  My most successful internet shopping ever! 
Me: 39. DH: 41. TTC since 2009.
FSH: 9.5 at highest. AMH (11/2011): 0.9. AFC: 10ish. HSG: Normal. SA: Normal.
July 2011 - Feb. 2012: 2 Clomid/TI cycles; 3 injectables/IUI cycles. Good response but BFNs.
Dec. 2011: Laparoscopy (clear) + hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyp.

April 2012: IVF #1: FSH 9.2, AFC 7-8. Antagonist protocol.
Started stims (300iu Gonal-F, 150iu Menopur) 3/28.
Added ganirelix 4/1. Trigger 4/5 (7 follies). ER 4/7: 7R, 0M, 0F. :-(

Nov. 2012: IVF #2: Long Lupron protocol.
Started Lupron 10/27. AFC 10+. Started stims (300iu Follistim, 150iu Menopur) 11/8.
Trigger 11/18 (7 follies). ER 11/20: 9R, 1M, 1F. 3dt of my one 6-cell embie on 11/23: BFN.

Dec. 2012: Hail Mary IUI cycle with leftover IVF meds: BFN.

Feb. 2013: IVF #3: Estrogen priming protocol.
Pre-AF: estro patch + ganirelix. AFC 8-10. Started stims (450 Follistim, 150 Menopur) 1/28.
Added ganirelix 2/4. Combined Lupron/HCG trigger 2/10 (6-ish follies).
ET 2/12: 6R, 1M, 1F w/rescue ICSI. My embie didn't make it. :-(

July 2013: DE IVF #1

I'm still on the Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur. My belly is black and blue! I go back in tomorrow for another ultrasound and some blood work. Hoping things are looking good! I'm nervous/excited about all the things that could go wrong or right!

QOTD: We like to joke that we met in the nursery at the hospital because we were actually born on the same day, 3 hours apart, in the same hospital. But technically we didn't meet until 25 years later. We had mutual friends who were dating that decided we'd make a perfect match so they invited us both over for dinner. Turns out they were right! Inseparable ever since!

Hi Basters!

I went for monitoring yesterday and the RE found a few more follicles since my last appointment which was on Thursday. Last night was night 9 of stims. I am going back tomorrow morning and will find out if I trigger tomorrow or Tuesday.

QOTW: My husband and I met when we were 17. We met during one of our university's freshman orientation weekends (in July). When we got back to campus in the fall to start college, we were besties and inseparable.

Hi everyone! So weird coming out of patchers right into basters! Not a lot of time to feel to down I guess. If you could add me to the list that would be awesome!!!!!

Update: Waiting for period to go in for baseline workup on 3rd day. If this cycle is like last, I started stimming that day. I got everything crossed that my body reacts well again. Trying to keep my head up, but boy PMS got me good today. So hard when the seed of doubt is there, but hoping IVF#2 is the ticket! Cheering all of you on, and giving hugs to anyone that needs them.

I met my husband literally on 4th of july. He was my roomate's cousin. We hung out that night and have been inseperable since!!!!

Triggered yesterday, ER tomorrow! So ready to get these eggs out I lost count today at monitoring appt. I think between 2530 follies I'm hoping we get 20 mature.

QOTDmy friend and I went to the bar one night for my bday and ran into a bunch of guys she went to HS with. She decided to leave me at bar and arranged a ride home for me with hubby. I wasn't too happy at first but after our first date he grew on me :
TTC since Oct 2008. 2010 endo found and removed, 2 IUI's IUI#3 becoming IVF#1 ER on 9-9-10, ET on 9-15 anb beta 9-23 BFN, 3-21-12 moving on to IVF#2 with a shared risk program ER 5-7-12 and 5DT on 5-12-12 After 3 1/2 years we had a positive beta 5-21. Heart beat 6-11, no heart beat at 8 weeks 6-19. D&C 6-22. Aug FET on 8-16 hpt bfp on 7dp5dt! Aug 2012 Decreased beta resulted in c/p onto IVF#3 Nov 2012. +hpt on 6dp5dt, so far third time was the charm. Baby B due July 29th 2013! Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Checking in for IVF#2.  I start taking my Estrace on Tuesday twice a day - going to be 3rd acupuntcure appt this week too.  Funny story - I've working out at the gym and trying to get healthy.  This morning - I was next to 2 women on the eliptical - onc discussing how she had been pregnant and nursing since 2010 and was putting lemon juice on her nipples to get her 16 month to stop nursing.  Does this stuff only happen to me? LOL.  Wanted to wish all the basters good luck!!!

Me 37 MH 40 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!!! EDD 08/19/12

I am also not on the list but am on day 3 of stims. Estrogen level this morning was low so they bumped up my dosages- trying not to be worried about that....

 

I met DH through a friend who was trying to set me up with one of DHs friends. That didn't work out so well but this one did!  
Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology) 2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN! IUI #2 August = BFN! IUI #3 September = BFN! IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 = BFN IVF #1.2 February 2013 *trying to keep hope* Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Update: Go in for my lining check tomorrow morning, and if all looks good, I start Crinone twice a day and we'll do our transfer Saturday, the 10th!  The best news of the day is that I think I've finally convinced my husband that we should transfer two embryos (he has been staunchly on the single embryo transfer train). 

Q: We met on an internet message board for alums of our university - not even a dating website! It was all very random - I lived in Ohio at the time and he was in Dallas, but I ended up interviewing for and taking a job in Dallas shortly after we had started emailing, and things went on from there. Just had our two year wedding anniversary!

Me: 33, DH: 32, Started TTC #1 since November '11
Saw RE April 2012 due to irregular cycles, Dx'd PCOS (normal weight)
Clomid 50mg, 100mg, then Femara 7.5, no response after 7 cycles
Testing = normal CD3 bw, normal HSG, v high antral follicle count; good DH SA
IUI #1 on 7/11/12 but poor monitoring and found out after that I never ovulated
New RE; Begin IVF September '12: Lupron, Gonal-F, Ovidrel trigger
14 days of stims, ER 9/30/12 (17 eggs, 12 fert)
ET 10/5/12, single blast transfer, 6 frozen
Home Digi 10/13 (8dp5dt): BFP! Beta 1: 11, Beta 2: 10 = chemical preg :(
FET #1 single embryo transfer: 11/10/12
5dp5dt:BFP! Beta 1- 122; Beta 2- 160; Beta 3- 202; Beta 4- 276
Poor prognosis, U/S inconclusive, 11/27 stopped all meds
12/12/12 - hcg mid 40s, MTX shots; 12/24/12 - hcg same, 2nd MTX shots;
1/23/13, hcg finally at zero. Blood work shows abnormal NK cell activity, but holding off on treatment this cycle

I'm back in the game!

Went in for our monitoring appointment this morning and "righty" woke up!  I have 5-6 follicles (total) and although it is a really low number, we are thrilled!!!  The RE expects that ER will be in the next 2-3 days.

I think I was missed last time too...please add me :-)   I am currently in my first IVF cycle and between ER and ET (FYI I think the Pumpkin Patchers had that as a section on the check in list).  ER was Friday and I'm finally feeling SO much better today.  We got 22 eggs. Fert report yesterday was 15 fertilized and another 5 they were still going to watch (didn't totally understand that part)  We will find out tomorrow morning if we have a 3dt (tomorrow) or 5dt (Wednesday).

QOTD:  I met DH in middle school (sounds like you jenn).  He was in science class with a bunch of my friends.  Then he decided to flirt with me by trying to spike a volleyball into my face in gym (so mature).  He asked me out on piece of paper and we have been together ever since. So funny to look back and see how far we've come.
