Heartburn

I am only 7 weeks pregnant, my previous pregnancy I had heartburn throughout the whole entire pregnancy. I am already receiving heartburn now, and it is very strong. My question is, is any other expecting mom having the same issue as me?

Yes Heartburn is a very common symptom of pregnancy.  Congrats!  Watch your spicy food intake!

I didn't really have it until 2nd tri last time, but have it already with this one. It is still mostly manageable with tums for me.

I was told I could take Zantac 75 for heartburn & nausea.

always check with your care provider before taking anything.

Usually they want you to wait until the 2nd trimester, but do NOT ever take omeprazole (Prilosec). It's a category C drug and can cause fetal death/defects.

Yes, I had heartburn for weeks before I found out I was pregnant.
