Another EP question

How can I be sure I am getting foremilk and hindmilk? I feel like one breast never produces hindmilk. Baby always seems hungry, fussy, and gassy.

That's the nice thing about pumping.  Everything mixes all together!   What makes you think it isn't producing any hindmilk? I refrigerated mine and it would seperate so I was able to see that there was a lot of each.

Our LC said that if her poops start looking more green, that's usually a sign she's getting more foremilk and not enough hindmilk. I think if baby's poops are yellow and seedy, then baby is fine.

I've noticed this too, and also that when I start pumping the milk is very thin and watery and at the end the drops are thick and white.

this! if you let your milk sit for a while, you'll notice that it separates.
