Starting a Registry

Hi Gals!

It is a lazy Sunday and I want to start a registry online.  I tried Babies R Us but it seems that I need to take my couch potato behind to the store to get it going.

Any suggestions of sites I can register at from the comforts of my home?

The registry service is having difficulty due to the storm.  One of their main servers is located in NJ.  Your about a minute pregnant.  You've got time.

Just browse online and use your registry to "bookmark" things you're interested in. Then when you actually go to the store you can decide if you really like those things or not. I guarantee you will change your mind along the way. :)

Last time, I did my pottery barn baby registry completely online. Also, you might want to wait with babies r us. With my last pregnancy, I registered in December since my shower was the beginning of March and a few of my big items were discontinued at the end of the year. Plus, they came out with new items that I liked better. I ended up changing most of the registery.

Wait and register in store so you can get the goodie bag - there isn't that much good stuff in it, but they give you coupons and I think there was a Shutterfly book code in it.

Target is the same way - if you start the registry online, they might not give you a goodie bag. I had to ask for mine (started online, then finished in store).

Go on Amazon. Make a wishlist. Add the "Add Anything" and you can add stuff to your wishlist from any site.

I registered at Target and Amazon.com. Both from my couch.

I started mine Registry on Amazon.com, mostly so I can give my parents some idea of what to get us for christmas. All I really want is all the baby furniture for chirstmas, so we can set up the nursery early in January. I am 13 weeks, and not due till May 2013. The cost of everything is already starting to freak me out.
