guess the sex

so I find out the sex of the NB on Tuesday but I'm finding it entertaining listening to family and friends try to guess what I'm having by my symptoms. So... if you'd like to guess:

1.) my skin has broken out and is more sensitive than usually.

2.) Fragrances make me gag

3.) I'm starting to not be able to stomach or crave meat

4.) I've got heart burn and can not sleep comfortably for a long period of time

5.) my leg cramp up if I stand for too long.

 So far my mom is stomped, she thought I was having a girl, thanks to my skin, but  the smell of sweet sugar candies makes me sick

#1 & 2 are what make me think its a girl! Had those with DD, and not one bit with this pregnancy which make me think its a boy this time.

those all just sound like pregnancy symptoms. 

I think old wives tales are fun, so if you told me what your baby's heart rate has been, what you've been craving and how you're carrying, I could take a better "guess"

The skin thing makes me think girl, but I actually think all of these symptoms are probably 50/50...

I find out Thursday!  can't wait!

Ha. No but seriously, being on my 6th pregnancy (3 boys & baby makes 3 girls) I can't even try to guess based on symptoms because it truely varies by pregnancy, not so much gender.

Oddly enough the only symptom I can say that has truely been "gender specific" for me is morning sickness. With my girls, I have horrible MS. With my boys, I didn't have the slighest bit of it. But that's about it. And many many of my friends had MS with their boys, so it's definitely not a true "gender specific" symptom for everyone.

We are Team Green this time, but with DD, my skin was pretty clear and I also could not stand meat for most of my pregnancy.

So...one symptom the same and one opposite and we had a girl. Not sure what it means for you though!

I have all of these and I'm having a boy, therefore so are you!!! lol

 

actually, you can't truly know ahead of time unless you dangle your wedding ring from a piece of thread over your belly(have someone else do it) and wait for it to stop moving, then when it starts moving on it's own, if it makes a straight line it's a boy, if it goes in circles, it's a girl.... ;-)

*sighs* I'd love to but for the past OB visits I've had the "lazy" OB's who barely wait long enough for the doupler to pick up a heart beat and just say "oh they're moving around too much"
