Intro

Hi ladies!  Just wanted to do a quick intro over here since we have come to the point of hopefully starting an IVF cycle.  We have 2 adorable furbabies (in my siggy) and we love the Chicago Bears!  I've been around the bump for about a year and a half on TTGP, for the last few months on 3T, and now here.  Will you have me????  Big Smile

Our TTC history is in my siggy.  We are diagnosed MFI.  I'm waiting for AF after our second failed IUI.  I were planning on doing 3 IUI's before moving on to IVF, but with our insurance coverage for IF ending at the end of the year, we are jumping ahead since IVF is what our RE recommended at the beginning anyways.  My DH has come a long way in the past 6 months from at first refusing to do any treatments, and now being on board for IVF.  I'm so proud of him and the growth that has happened for him and us!  The next few days are going to be quite stressful with getting approvals from my insurance company for the IVF cycle.  FX that AF gets here tonight or tomorrow morning so that things can get rolling.  I hope everything falls into place in time.  My clinic does IVF cycle dates, so we are hoping to be ready in time for the 12/6/12 cycle.

First and only question for now:  What does the 12/6/12 date mean?  Does that mean that ER/ET will be around that time?  My nurse said I would need to start stims by 11/14/12.

Sorry that this got a little long.  And now chocolate for all!!

We're also MFI and my DH was very resistant to testing at all (he was afraid of finding something wrong) but is very involved now. Good luck with your cycle! We're on hold until February =)
My Ovulation Chart
TTC with MFI and poor ovulation since 03/11
TCM and progesterone supplements
Early loss in 08/11
MFI Dx in 03/12 Low count, low motility, poor morphology and high levels of anti-sperm antibodies
Treated with supplements and TCM. Much lower on all factors. Count too low to test for anti-bodies
Met with new urologist 11/12
IUI #1 12/12: Letrozole + Gonal-F = BFN
DH started Clomid 01/13
New SA shows 33 million sperm! Thank you Clomid!!!
Discovered I am hypothyroid 04/13 waiting for specialist appointment
Hoping to try IUI again in July?

6/12: IUI #1: 50mg clomid/ovidrel/progesterone= BFN
7/12: IUI #2: 2.5mg Letrozole/ovidrel/progesterone= BFN.
8/12: 2.5mg Letrozole + progesterone = BFN.
9/12: lap / hysteroscopy: found and removed mild endometriosis, cervical polyp, and 2 para-tubular cysts
10/12: 2.5mg letrozole = No response :(
11/12: IUI #3: 5mg letrozole/ovidrel/progesterone=BFN
12/12: IUI #4, 5mg letrozole/Menopur/ovidrel/vivelle/progesterone= BFN
5/13 IVF #1: Follistim, Menopur, Ganirelix

And yes I would assume the 12/6 date is most likely for your ER.

Thanks for the warm welcome!  It's nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones!  I'm guessing if 12/6 is ER, I would be in the group that comes after the Turkey Basters, yes?

Yeah you'd be in the December snow bunnies group if your ER is on 12/6. They haven't started checkins yet though!

Welcome and good luck! And yep, like the others have said 12/6 should be ER estimate. I'm in an 11/5 group. ER won't be tomorrow but monitoring is. They told me to estimate ER sometime this week.

IVF (w/ISCI) #1 in April 2012. 9R, 6F. 3-day transfer of one 8 and one 6 cell. None to freeze. BFN
Planning for IVF #2 in January 2013.

Me: 28; DH: 35 1/2008 -- Started TTC
3/2009 -- FD discovered at 17 weeks
1/2011 -- Lap and HSG reveal Stage IV Endo and both tubes blocked.
4/2012 -- Consult with RE for IVF#1 -- All bloodwork and SA are normal -- Repeat HSG - SURPRISE! Both tubes are open.
May, June, August 2012 -- IUI#1-3 -- Letrozole + Bravelle + Ovidrel trigger = BFN
9/2012 -- Lap#2 to remove endo and Hysteroscopy

IVF#1 (Long Lupron) -- 12/6 ER - 20R 11F * 12/11 ET - Transferred 2 excellent blasts *
Beta #1 79.7 * Beta #2 240 * It's a GIRL!!

Same situation over here! My husband does not produce sperm- we got a donor. I had 3 failed IUI's and will find out Thursday if my first IVF worked.

Me: 31, PCOS (insulin resistance) TTC since 05/11. DH: 31 Great SA after multivitamins and diet improvements 6/25 IUI #1 cancelled IVF #1 w/ICSI on 8/23 CANCELLED due to ovulation. IVF #1.2 BFN 11/6 3 snowbabies. FET #1 12/20. Beta 12/31-BFFN FET #2 scheduled for 6/12. Everyone WELCOME!!
