Is this normal??

I got my BFP on halloween(10/31/12), my lmp was october 6th and AF was due for Nov 4th. what i want to know is it normal to get a strong positive 5 days before my missed period?? i took 3 more tests two on thursday which the lines got even darker with out using morning pee then one on friday night when the line was as dark as could be...

Depends on when you ovulated and how long your LP is.  The darkness of tests don't always mean much more than the amount of dye used in them.

It is not a bad thing. You are definitely pregnant. Try to stop over analyzing and enjoy it.

I had a clear positive on multiple tests including a digital at 9dpo when my period was due 5 days later without FMU. It happens. Dont over analyze your positive tests. A line is a line.

Normal. I had light positives as early as 7 DPO and a dark positive and digital positive 6 days before my period was due. Don't over analyze. A positive is a positive.

Congrats on your Positives!!!! Very exciting news! I think that with the tests now days, it is very normal to get a strong positive before AF is supposed to show! I love the fact that when everyone is in such anticipation while they are trying, that these tests can help us get an answer sooner rather than later! Welcome to the board, I look forward to getting to know you and I wish you a very healthy and happy 9 months! :)

We found out almost 1 whole week before my missed period and we are not having twins, just 1 is in there. It's normal!

you may have ovulated early hence the dark line earlier
