Usually a mostly egg white omelette with a veggie, some low fat cheese and maybe some salsa or egg, turkey bacon and tomatoes.

Lunch is usually a salad with chicken with some type of cheese, super greens, nuts, different veggies and fruits (I have a bunch of different variations to stave of boredom).

Dinner is meat/fish with veggies.  I usually try to eat one sweet potato a day either at lunch or dinner or as a snack.

Snacks are usually apples & almond or other nut butter, fruit and cheese or a green smoothie and turkey.

Wow! Everyone eats very healthy! I still have an irritable stomach and wish I would eat healthier.

Breakfast - honey nut Cheerios with organic milk

Snacks - homemade energy bars (or Clif if I don't have time to make them) and fruit

Lunch - Peanut Butter and Jelly on whole wheat bread

Dinner -  whatever floats my boat! (I work 2-11p so I'm always eating dinner at work and I allow myself to make whatever I want or go out to eat)

What I eat in a day varies drastically. I wish it didn't and I was way better about food/meal consistency for the first half of my pregnancy.

Yesterday was:

Breakfast: two scrambled eggs with cheese, about 7 tater tots, tea with whole milk and agave

Lunch: one portabella mushroom taco and one halibut taco with some chips and guacamole

Dinner: a small portion of clam chowder (homemade with red snapper broth) and a piece of homemade sourdough with grassfed butter and a tiny bit of brie

Snack: 1 cup hot apple cider, 1 cup homemade kefir, 2 glasses red raspberry leaf tea

Day before was:

Breakfast: 1 cup hot apple cider

Lunch: a few bites of coconut cake, a small bag of kettle chips

Dinner: organic salad bar, hummus and avocado sandwich with grassfed cheddar on sprouted bread, a small bag of kettle chips

Snacks: samples of cheeses at the grocery store, a small bottle of orange juice, 1 glass of red raspberry leaf tea

I've been sick and lazy so anything homemade was prepared by DH, so was my sandwich. I've only been sick for five days but I hope it goes away right now. I need to get stuff done and take better care of myself.

Breakfast: high fiber cereal, fruit, OJ

Mid-morning snacks: granola bar, piece of fruit

Lunch: varies as I eat out every day. Usually a salad or wrap, or soup

Afternoon snacks: yogurt, piece of fruit

Before dinner snack: half a bagel with cream cheese or baby carrots and french onion dip

Dinner: Chicken or fish with steamed vegetables, or stir fry, or pasta

Bedtime snack: piece of cheese, warm milk, fruit

Reading that back, it looks very healthy, but believe me, I indulge a little on the weekends. : )

As you can see, I snack a lot. I'm carrying twins though and am worried I won't gain enough. I read yesterday I should gain 24 pounds by 24 weeks, so that means I need to gain 18 pounds in just over 10 weeks. Does that seem pretty feasible??

hansonam446:
I usually eat food.

 Yes

I was thinking this too - I just try to make sure I get a balanced diet. I travel quite a bit for work, so it depends on where I am.
